Why Not Try a Handleless Fitted Kitchen

Fast becoming our most popular range of fitted kitchens is the Handleless fitted Kitchen Range from Rotpunkt.  A professionally fitted handleless kitchen give a sleek, elegant look to any kitchen.

The design uses rebated channels enabling the user to open the doors by placing their hand behind the top edge of the door or drawer.  We find that handleless fitted kitchens tend to be favoured in smaller or narrow kitchens where a flush finish will prevent door or drawer handles from catching on clothes.

Available in high gloss, lacquered and matt lacquered finishes, the overall finish is flawless and clean which compliments any kitchen. A handleless fitted kitchen can be viewed in our showroom in Redditch.

These kitchens need to be viewed to really appreciate the quality and finishes available. you will also get to experience the technology involved in all of the systems available including soft closing sliding drawers and doors, appliance cupboards and corner cupboards.  Seeing how all of these types of units integrate with each other seamlessly needs to be viewed in situ.

A Rotpunkt Handleless fitted kitchen has a discreet trim running behind the door allowing a simple finger pull to open the unit. designed either with vertical handle or horizontal. Not only do we offer stainless steel handleless options but also we are able to offer 20 different coloured versions along side our carcasses.

Kitchen design trends 2017

Kitchen design trends 2017.

For many of us, the kitchen is the hub of the home. It’s where  family/friends  get together every night for dinner and social events,  It’s where homework is done and family meetings are held,  it’s where guests gather even though the dining room table is set and a fire is roaring in the living room. There’s something about the kitchen that makes it far more than merely a working space. If you’re thinking about updating your kitchen this year, check out these hot kitchen design trends for 2017, as identified by Signum Interiors designers.

1 “Mixing Metals  is my favourite kitchen design trends 2017. I think it reflects a more individual, less formal approach to design that is popular with millennials and non-millennials alike. While it takes a bit of an expert eye, it is totally appropriate to mix metal finishes in your sink, handles, chair legs pendant lighting and Appliances  – Designer, Jon Burton

2 White kitchens another trend that will never go out of style, we’re seeing a move towards warmer materials and less design orientated or expected approach. Consider your new kitchen an extension of the living and dining spaces, especially those with an open plan arrangement.  The thought process is a “not so kitchen, kitchen”. Working with a broad colour palette and materials to achieve a sense of unity with adjacent spaces provides a connection with interior elements such as furniture, lighting and decorative details, leaving the kitchen with all the importance of function yet all the style to go along with the rest of your home.” – Interior Designer, Holly Jones

3 “One recent kitchen design trend we all love is to have sections of the upper cabinet extended onto the counter. Let’s face it, we all love our small appliances (i.e. toaster oven, espresso machine) but we may not want them on display all the time. A multi-purpose kitchen island has been the go-to solution to disguise the microwave and dishwasher, but unless the island is 3 meters long, it is challenging and perhaps impractical for the island to house the small appliances we use daily off the worktop. By having the upper cabinets extended to the counter and small appliances sitting behind doors we offer through an array of styles and pocket doors to hide unsightly small appliances “ you can achieve a sleek design statement without sacrificing your morning toast and tea.

4 “In 2017, we will continue to see cabinetry colour matched to the doors in white and various shades of grey. I think that we will also see cabinetry painted in warmer tones such as Grigio ,  taupe and mushroom. Islands in a different colour or wood grains than the perimeter cabinetry will continue to be prevalent. In addition, painted islands that look like furniture with legs will be popular for that unfitted kitchen look. It also adds personality and charm and the kitchen then looks like it has evolved over time. Quartz as a worktop will continue to be as popular as customers become more aware of its features and benefits.

5 “After years of white on white kitchens, our clients are asking for something different again. While you might not want to paint an entire kitchen in one colour to stand out from the crowd, the tendency of kitchen design trends 2017, will be to mix natural wood, paint and metals in the kitchen. Try framing wall cabinetry with accent colours. Add texture to your cabinetry with a mix of light wood veneered base frontals and white lacquered uppers.” – visit our Redditch showroom and see our mix of displays.

6 “Say hello to  Polished chrome and nickel accents,  giving way to black sinks , Chrome quartz worktops , burnt  steel pendants and matte black cabinet handles. The dark finishes can work in sleek modern kitchens or the cottageiest of cooking spaces. With white kitchens continuing to dominate, a dash of black can provide high contrast and instantly update tired rooms

7  Glass is the new tile, add selective splashes of colours by enhancing your kitchen with a piece of coloured glass instead of traditional tiles.                                     Glass can be cut in all manner of shapes and sizes. Its tough, its easy to clean and ensures a smooth sleek look. 2017 trending colours to look out for are Mirror, Bronze, and vibrant accents such as  Lime greens, Purple and bluey hues.
